Since 2018, the international congress “BIOPOLYMER - Processing & Molding” has been bringing together experts on the topic of bio-based and biodegradable plastics - and engaging in discussions with users and processors from all over the world. Participants from more than 40 countries (online and on-site) have made the event one of the most important of its kind in the world over the past two years. The event, which is organized annually by the POLYKUM e.V. association, is particularly appreciated for its practical, user-oriented presentations.

What types of content can be submitted?

Innovations in the field of bio-based and biodegradable plastics, in particular:

  • New or significantly improved materials, products, machines or components
  • Innovative technologies for the production, investigation or processing of biopolymers
  • New inventions/research and development results from the last 2 to 3 years (in exceptional cases up to 5 years if the content is relevant for today's applications)
  • Practical experience and real measurements - not very first ideas
  • Important new developments in the area of legal or political framework conditions or important markets affecting the biopolymer industry
  • High relevance for processors, users and product developers
